Architectural Plans:

Welcome to Lambhill Stables

The Vision

The initial aim of the Lambhill Stables charity is to restore & enhance the existing Lambhill Stables building as an important historical landmark and environmental amenity. Our mission is to develop a programme of innovative, community-based activities from the geographical hub of Lambhill Stables which in turn links to the regeneration of the whole canal corridor. Our vision is to see the site transformed into a productive space that provides opportunities for disadvantaged local residents to transform their lives through relevant occupational training and employment opportunities. It will deliver on the themes of Employability, Health, Learning, Safety and Vibrancy.

Our architects plans have been approved with full planning permissions. A full business plan is now available on request. We hope that this website will give you an insight to what we are working towards. Should you wish more information, if you could offer advise or help on this project please contact me at:

MSP attend successful ground breaking day

MSPs Patricia Ferguson and Patrick Harvey joined Lambhill’s own Mini Gardener team and manned a spade at the groundbreaking ceremony for Lambhill Stables charity on the 16th April.

The groundbreaking marks the start of work for the ambitious project which aims to restore the landmark, 150-year-old Lambhill Stables building and gardens with energy efficient, sustainable materials. It will then become a hub for a variety of community based activity that will provide disadvantaged people in the area occupational training and employment opportunities.
