The Lambhill Stables building will be opening very soon. This previously neglected landmark will re-open as a refurbished community hub with workshops and studios for hire. The upper floors of both buildings will be accessible by a wheelchair lift.
The 580m2 stables development involves a mixture of restoration work and new build, including office and training space, conference facilities, a kitchen/café area, visitor centre and a viewing tower. There will be a multi use social corridor that will link the new and old building. The social corridor will also be used as exhibition space and will have smaller open informal meeting and breakout areas.
